Oceanside, CA (February, 2017) Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside (BGCO) was the first stop on Supervisor Bill Horn’s recent trip to visit nonprofits in the 5th District. Board President Robert Botkin, 1st Vice President Gigi Gleason, Past President, Robbie Hass, along with Jodi Diamond, CEO, and BGCO staff members met with Supervisor Horn and his team to discuss the positive impact BGCO has provided to the youth in the community, the tremendous growth the Club has experienced and the even greater reach that the new Center for Innovation will have on the teen population.

The Center for Innovation will include a Culinary Arts Teaching Kitchen, Performing Arts Center and STREAM (Science, Technology, Research, Engineering, Arts and Math) Lab.

During the visit Supervisor Horn toured the Club, and was presented with a lifetime membership card. “We were honored to host Supervisor Horn and his team.  He has been a strong supporter of our Club, and we look forward to a continued partnership.” said Jodi Diamond, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Oceanside.
