We met here in the Club when we were in elementary school, and now we are in middle school and are still friends. We are friends because we can be ourselves when we are together. There is no “fakeness”, just friendship.

We are good friends because we both understand that friendship is two sided. Sometimes people just hang out with you because they want money or food, and you feel used. Real friendship is natural, and you are there for them when they need you. You can laugh together and cry together; no matter the feeling you experience it together.

Middle school is hard because not everyone is nice. When someone is mean, or rude, it is our first reaction to be rude back, because what they did was hurtful. But we are working on responding to situations, and always being positive. In order to have a good friend you need to be a good friend and you have to respect each other.

We have always been told to surround ourselves with good people that are positive influences and we try to be good influences on one another and everyone at school. Being positive is contagious, and can really change a person’s attitude for the better. We are not always perfect, but we are stronger together. And together we can make a difference in our middle school.
